About me

My name is Kevin Bau and I am a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, also qualified in the field of special education.

My studies and experiences have led me to specialize in the fields of childhood, adolescence and family, but also in adult psychopathology. In this perspective, I now provide family services - which include children, couples, and family therapy - and adult therapy and counselling

Passionate about my work, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings. After seven years of experience working with children and adults with mental health problems and/or disabilities, I returned to university to complete my Master's degree in clinical psychology, entitled "psychopathology, clinical psychology of social and family relationships," in France. And thus, I obtained the qualifications of clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. I then worked as a psychologist for the juvenile justice in France for two years.

These enriching and formative experiences have allowed me to develop a clinical methodology, and above all, attentive listening that I hope is kind and non-judgmental. Our meeting will therefore take place in a safe space adapted to your needs, your own pace, and your questions, for you or your children.

Today, I work in an office in Bangkok where I offer English-speaking psychological support in Bangkok for expats, families, and international residents. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, parenting challenges, or emotional stress, I am here to help.

My therapeutic approach

I've studied psychology while working for years, the clinical situations I encountered being at the origin of my research. Also, I am a member of a few intervision groups.

About family therapy : I've specialized in contemporary psychoanalysis and in family therapy during my master's degree, and later, I studied the systemic approach. I was able to apply these approaches and develop my methodology through my two years experience with juvenile justice in France, my few years in a residential care home for children placed under child protection and in a special education and care center for children with disabilities.

About adult therapy : I've studied psychopathology, clinical psychology and psychoanalysis on multiple occasions. Also, I have worked one year for a medico-social support service for adults with psychic disabilities, and four years for an adult disability care service.
